If you compare the treadmill vs elliptical exercise, treadmill workouts do have the advantage if you are a keen jogger or runner. However elliptical exercise will provide a much more overall body workout if you use the handles. This way you are working out your upper body as well as your lower body with the elliptical whereas, treadmill workouts focus solely on the lower body.
