It&#8217;s all well and good to do all the right things when it comes to fat burning exercises, however, if you&#8217;re not sensible with what and when you eat it can easily all go out the window.</p>
<p>You may have been told to do your early morning exercise on an empty stomach, however, this is not always the best for your fat burning metabolism. It&#8217;s far better to have a least a small meal, considering you haven&#8217;t eaten since the night before. </p>

<p>Even if you don&#8217;t usually like to eat so early in the morning, a banana or fruit smoothie is far better than having nothing in your stomach. Eating a light meal before working out then having a more substantial breakfast including unrefined carbohydrates, within two hours of completing your exercise is the most sensible way to go.</p>
<p>Also remember to keep well hydrated by drinking plenty of water on arising as well as during and after your exercise. </p>
