Getting yourself into a regular fat burning program can sometimes be a bit of a challenge. If you’re like many people, you have all good intentions of getting to the gym on a regular basis but somehow it never quite works out.

It can be too easy to let other things take priority over your fat burning program and before you know it, you haven’t exercised for almost a week. This can happen to the best of us but here’s a few tips that can put you on the right path:

  • Schedule your workouts into your diary for the forthcoming week on a Sunday afternoon and stick with it. Treat this like any other appointment or meeting and don’t let yourself down by not turning up!
  • Set yourself goals so you have something to work towards. When your alarm goes off in the morning for your early morning jog or gym session, remember the goal you’re striving for and how important it is to you.
  • Find a workout buddy and plan your weekly sessions together. This doesn’t have to be for every workout but even a couple of times a week can help. If you plan to meet up with someone, you’re much more likely to turn up.
  • Do your fat burning programs at the same time every day so you get yourself into a proper routine. Once this becomes a habit you’ll find it much easier to stick to it every day.
  • Try some different weight training exercises. It’s easy to get bored with the same old routine. Either book a personal trainer to do you a new program or do some research on the internet. There’s plenty of resources out there such as Turbulence Training, Truth About Abs, or Fat Burning Furnace, just to name a few.
