Fat Burning Workouts

If you travel a lot like I do, you may find yourself in hotel gyms doing your fat burning workouts. I have discovered a new one hour routine I can do at most hotel gyms, depending on their cardio equipment.

You will usually find an exercise bike, a treadmill, a rowing machine, and often an elliptical trainer or a stepper machne. If you combine these machines and do a circuit style workout, this is a fantastic way to keep yourself motivated as well as really working on your fat burning. Choose four pieces of cardio equipment for this particular fat burning workout.

You can start with whichever piece of cardio equipment you want, depending on your preference or it’s availability. Spend the first five minutes on each piece of cardio equipment at a steady pace. This will warm up the muscles you’ll be using that are specific to that machine, as well as help you recover from the previous exercise.

Slowly build this up so at the end of the five minutes you are starting to feel the intensity and an increase in your heart rate. For the next 10 minutes, keep at a high intensity pace. You should be really feeling it by now and working at a very hard training zone. After 10 minutes here, move on to the next piece of cardio equipment, warming up and recovering for the first five minutes then getting back into the high intensity zone for 10 minutes.

At the end of one hour you will feel a real glow and that ‘buzz’ you get from a high intensity fat burning workout. Ensure you cool down and stretch all the muscles you’ve just worked at the end of this workout.
