You may have heard of the fat burning soup diet, this is a fad that has been around for quite some time. As with all diet fads, weight loss does not always last and can even have a detrimental effect on your health. If you are considering trying this fat burning soup diet, please consult your doctor or health professional first.
In saying that, a fat burning soup diet can be an effective way to weight loss, so long as you don’t do it for more than 7 days. After one week of being on this diet, your body will be used to eating healthily and if you keep up a healthy food intake you can expect to see dramatic weight loss results. Of course you will need to combine this with fat burning exercise to reap the most benefits.

Fat Burning Soup Recipe
1 x 820g (28 oz) diced tinned tomatoes
1 bunch of spring onions
1 bunch of celery
2 green peppers
5 carrots
250g (10 oz) green beans
250g (10 oz) mushrooms
½ red cabbage
2 fish or vegetable stock cubes
4 cups water
Sea salt and cracked pepper to season
Chop all the vegetables into small pieces. Bring the water to the boil in a saucepan then mix in the stock cubes. Add vegetables to the water and bring back to the boil. Once boiled, simmer until all the vegetables are very soft. Add the tinned tomatoes and mix well then add to a blender and mix until smooth. Pour back into the saucepan and reheat each time you wish to eat some.
There is no limit as to how much soup you can eat within the seven days. Along with the soup there are some guidelines as to what else you can eat each day.
Day One
Unlimited fruit, except bananas.
Day Two
Unlimited raw or cooked vegetables, except potatoes.
Day Three
Unlimited fruit as well as unlimitedraw or cooked vegetables (no bananas or potatoes).
Day Four
Up to eight bananas as well as skimmed or soy milk.
Day Five
Lean chicken fillet or white fish fillet and up to six tomatoes.
Day Six
Unlimited vegetables and lean beef, chicken or white fish fillet.
Day Seven
Unlimited brown rice, unlimited vegetables and fresh fruit juice.
