The question of how to burn belly fat comes up regularly. Many people are under the impression that if they do loads of abdominal exercises this will do the trick. However if you really want to know how to burn belly fat the most efficient and effective way, you need to be doing regular cardiovascular activities.
This could include running or jogging, swimming, treadmill workouts, elliptical exercise, rowing, and many other fat burning activities of this nature. If you belong to a gym there are many great classes that will really help to burn the fat. Try Spinning, circuit classes, aerobics, step, boxing, or any classes that really get your heart rate up.
The key is to do any of these cardio exercises regularly and often. Three to four times a week should be the minimum and more if you can schedule it in. The duration of your workout can be anywhere between thirty and sixty minutes, depending on your time constraints or if it is a class you are attending.
In addition to cardio training, incorporate weight training into your weekly routine. Target the larger muscle groups such as quadriceps, back, and chest and also include some abs work within your workout.
