The best buttock toning exercises you can do are squats and walking lunges. Both of these require dumbbells and the weight is dependent on how strong and toned you already are.
To perform a basic squat, stand with your feet hip width apart, knees slightly bent. Hold a dumbbell in each hand and choose an appropriate weight for you. Bend your knees until your thighs are parallel with the ground. Don’t let your knees go past your toes and keep them in line with your middle toe. Repeat this movement for 15 repetitions, rest for 1 minute then repeat another 15 repetitions.
Rest for another minute before performing the next exercise, the walking lunge. Start with your feet together and again holding a dumbbell in each hand. Step your left foot forward and your right knee toward the ground. Your left knee should be parallel with the ground. Now step your right foot forward so it is next to your left foot, then repeat on the other side. Repeat this exercise on both sides for 15 repetitions, making 30 steps in total. Rest for one minute then do another 15 repetitions on each side.
Do both of these buttock toning exercises three times a week and you’ll really start to see some great results.
